Thanks for sharing the videos. A few quick questions. How did you configure the OS? That is, what filesystems did you use for the nodes, any kernel parameter tuning, any users or tweaks made to the operative system before installing the Oracle stuff? Does it apply to Oracle Linux and RHEL? Thanks for your time.

Eric, this annoying problem makes entering on the OUI extremely difficult. I find a workaround resolution to this. If you pick the lowest screen resolution say 640×480 and used screen depth color of thousands color rather than million. The flashing stops running the OUI in full screen mode (Host key (ctrl key) + F). This is very handy. I think this problem only occurs for 32 bits machine. I will report this back to My Oracle Support contact. Thank you for your help site.

I got this problem with virtualbox 4.0.4 running OEL 5.6 too when tried to install Oracle 11gR2 on it.

Anyway out ?

Hi sir,

I have some issues relating install Oracle EM Grid Control 10.2.0.2.1 on win2003 SP2.
in OMS configuration section, Errors always appear and say “AgentPlugin Failed”. I try reinstall hundreds of time both OS and ORACLE.
But nothing changed. Could you recommend me for any solution or by email sovanndyung@gmail.com?

I thought my vm network was sufficient. Why is not that so?

What can I do to avoid ending my office public network?

hi eric thats wonderfull great work , can u help me removing the resources of dead node from existing clusterware . gsd,ons,listener etc
